We hope to add a forum to this site for visitors seeking and sharing information on all aspects of learning difficulties. Our intention is to enable visitors to share information and experiences on any issue of learning difficulties that may, or might have affected them, be they children, adults, parents, teachers or GP's. Whether the difficulty lies in the learning environment or in the work environment.

Our experience at Learning Insights is that parents and professionals alike have a considerable range and depth of knowledge and understanding of many aspects of human behaviours.
We are actually all to some degree intuitive psychologists!

We feel your knowledge and insights are lost in that there are few places where individuals, parents or professionals can go to dip into this well of information. Initially, when trying to find out if our experiences are unique, what they might mean - how they might be improved, altered or better understood, we often do not know where to start and going straight to the professionals can be anxiety provoking, costly and not always helpful until we get to the right one.

The Forum is designed to address this need: it is a place where you can ask a question and other individuals, parents and professionals can give you a steer. The Learning Insights team will moderate it, such that your privacy and confidentiality will be protected. By this we mean if you should mention what we consider to be an important piece of information revealing more than is perhaps safe - name of a child, child's school, your home address or company name we will endeavour to ensure that this confidential information is protected.
